Warranty Terms and Conditions

Our products shall be free of defects in material and workmanship for the Warranty Period - in effect at the date of purchase. All products are under warranty for at least one year; if a product’s warranty is longer than 1 year, this longer warranty is listed on the individual product page.

Replacement product will be shipped free of charge when the warranty is claimed within one year of the original receipt date. If the warranty claim is longer than 1 year, the customer will be responsible for shipping costs for the replacement product.

The warranty and, if applicable, extended warranties, expressly excludes and does not cover damage to any product, which is caused by the following:

  • Improper handling
  • Misuse
  • Alteration
  • Vandalism
  • Incorrect installation
  • Exposure to the elements, or by storm, hail, fire or flood

All aforementioned occurrences will immediately void the warranty and, if applicable, extended warranties on the product.

Any product verified to be defective within that product’s warranty period, shall upon prompt notification by its Purchaser to our Customer Service department, be either replaced or repaired at Barco Products Canada’ sole discretion.

Merchandise cannot be returned without a return authorization number from a customer service representative, as well as a copy of the original invoice documenting the date of purchase.

Color Disclaimer

Although every effort is made to represent a product’s true color as accurately as possible, colors may appear differently in real life versus a print or digital representation of the same color swatch. There also may be subtle color differences among product dye lots.

Warranty Period

The warranty period for the product begins on the date the product is delivered to the customer and is valid for the specified duration from that date. If a replacement part is provided, the warranty does not reset and remains in effect from the original delivery date. The replacement part is covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period and is subject to the same terms and conditions as the original product.

*Typical wood defects including but not limited to minor grain variations, knots, color differences, lumber yard markings or natural wood imperfections (including checking, warping, or surface cracking) are not covered under warranty. The limited warranty covers major defects in the wood (structural issues) or manufacturing errors.

Replacement Product Policy

Under this warranty, if a full replacement product is deemed necessary, the customer is entitled to one (1) replacement product during the life of the warranty. Once a replacement product has been issued, no further replacements will be provided for the original product or the replacement product, regardless of the cause of failure, for the duration of the warranty period.

Warranty Claims Process

Any product verified to be defective within that product’s warranty period, shall upon prompt notification by its Purchaser to our Customer Service department, be either replaced or repaired at Barco Products’ sole discretion.

Shipping

Exclusions

The warranty and, if applicable, extended warranties, expressly excludes and does not cover damage to any product, which is caused by the following:

  • Exposure to the elements, or by storm, hail, fire or flood.

Barco Products will not reimburse customers for any labor costs that may have been incurred for the assembly, disassembly, or installation of any product.

Surface rust is not covered under this warranty; however, rust-through or structural failures occurring within the warranty period will be covered as specified in the terms and conditions.

To extend the life of portable metal frame products, it is strongly recommended to purchase frame protectors or surface mount kits to prevent the product from being dragged which can cause coating damage and rust. These products can be found as optional accessories on the relevant product pages.
